Show Notes
Mike Storm, a sixty-one-year-old Olathe resident, has been chosen by Johnson County Republicans to fill the Kansas House seat left vacant by Representative John Resmans death. Storm, who has pledged to push for property tax cuts and less government waste, will have a crucial vote in April when Republicans aim to override Governor Laura Kellys vetoes. Storm has filed to run for a full two-year term, following close losses in past races. Retired Air Force Brigadier General Thomas Palenske from Olathe has also entered the Republican primary in August.
