Joshua Newman, a highly accomplished candidate for the dean position at the University of Kansas School of Education and Human Sciences, is set to present his vision this afternoon. With extensive experience in sports management and health, and a proven track record of growing research funding, Newman brings deep expertise to the table. He currently manages over $84 million in yearly research projects and has helped increase that funding by nearly $70 million in the past five years. Newmans credentials include a doctorate in kinesiology from the University of Maryland and undergraduate degrees from the University of Memphis. He joins three other finalists in the running for the position, with KU leaders set to make their decision soon.
