Woods Chapel United Methodist Church in Lees Summit hosts its annual Prom Boutique, offering over a thousand free dresses and suits to teens from across the region. With donations from local closets, individuals, and businesses, volunteers transform the church into a pop-up shop, helping students find the perfect prom look at no cost. The event, started in 1998, has served over 26,000 students and continues to grow, with this years boutique running from Tuesday to Saturday.
