Artifact Coffee and Goods, a new downtown spot, is set to open in Kansas Citys Garment District. Co-owners Marlee Ogden and Zack Scott, both 23, are focusing on quality coffee and local goods. Initially a candle business, they pivoted to create a space for coffee, art, and supporting local talent. The Beacon Hill space formerly occupied by Vested Coffee now houses Two Sugars second shop. Artifact is expected to open within the next few months, adding new energy to the local scene.
