Trump Prepares to Make Mean Faces at Michael Cohen

In our longform weekend podcast - Glenn recounts this week's Trump news. First, District Attorney Fani Willis tells Representative Jim Jordan, in no uncertain terms, that he is abusing his authority by interfering in her RICO prosecution of Donald Trump. Glenn says unfortunately, this abuse by Jordan and other Trump insurrectionists in Congress will continue until the Department of Justice indicts them for their crimes. Then, Special Counsel Jack Smith has filed a motion urging DC federal court Judge Tanya Chutkan to adopt jury procedures to protect jurors from Donald Trump. And on Monday, October 16, Judge Chutkan will take up Smith's request for a gag order on Trump to protect witnesses and others from Trump's continued threatening speech and posts. Glenn says he will be there in the courtroom on Monday to report what happens. And, after spending a few days attending his fraud trial in New York, Trump apparently grew tired of it and stopped attending. Glenn jokes now, Trump is threatening to return to the court, apparently just to make mean faces at his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, who has flipped and turned against him. Then wrapping it up - Glenn gives details of his special live appearance on stage in Los Angeles next weekend.
