Marc Brackett, Ph.D., is the Founder and Director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and a Professor in the Child Study Center of Yale University. He is the author of the best selling book "Permission to Feel." Marc is the lead developer of RULER, an evidence-based approach to social and emotional learning. He is co creator of the award winning free "How We Feel App." We talk about the ephemeral nature of emotions and the importance of understanding what that emotion is in the moment.
