Sean Saint is the Co-Founder + Chief Executive Officer of Companion Medical. Sean is responsible for assembling the corporate team and managing day-to-day operations of the Company. He has more than 15 years' of engineering experience in medical devices and various startups. Sean is a Type 1 diabetic and well-known in the diabetes community.
Prior to starting Companion Medical, Sean worked as Director of Advanced Technology and Mechanical Engineer at Tandem Diabetes Care, Co-Founder and Vice President of R&D at Alure Medical, Engineering Manager at Dexcom, and Senior Engineer at Medtronic/AVE. Sean has 175 issued and pending patent applications.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of California.
