Leah Juliett is non-binary, plus-sized, tattooed, and could be the next Miss America. They were first runner up at Miss Connecticut last year and have one more chance to make it to the national stage before they age out. Host Sierra DeMulder will be following Leah’s journey through this competition season while exploring the questionable history and uncertain future of the Miss America organization through the lens of a non-traditional competitor.
