Dopo aver lasciato l'iniziativa a Microsoft, Sony risponde a Xbox Series X con un evento in streaming dedicato a PlayStation 5 e ai suoi giochi. Due terzi di Joypad lo hanno seguito e commentato in diretta, emozionandosi davanti a Horizon: Forbidden West e al remake di Demon's Souls, rimanendo perplessi durante l'apertura dedicata a Ratchet & Clank e totalmente impreparati a commentare Gran Turismo 7. Un po' a sorpresa Sony ha anche mostrato la console, anzi, le console (una versione non avrà il lettore ottico) e la prima serie di periferiche ufficiali.
