In this episode of Journey Through Sci-Fi, we explore two superhero films that use time travel to reshape entire cinematic universes.
First we discuss Avengers: Endgame (2019), the Marvel blockbuster where the surviving Avengers travel back through time to retrieve the Infinity Stones and undo Thanos' devastating snap.
Then we look at X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), the ambitious X-Men film that sends Wolverine back to 1973 in an attempt to prevent a dystopian future for mutants.
Together these films show how time travel has become one of the most powerful storytelling tools in modern blockbuster science fiction.
