Marala Scott is one of Oprah’s five Ambassader’s of Hope and has won multiple awards.
Marala endured painful physical abuse as a child and also witnessed the beatings her father
gave her mother. After leaving home at age 18, Marala continued a painful existence of anger and
depression. She finally chose to live a different kind of life, not just for her own sake, but her children’s sake too.
