Brenda Adelman, an actress, grew up in a colorful and volatile childhood. Her ‘bohemian’ mother read her Shakespeare, traveled, and was an artist. Her father was a Jewish man who always carried a gun. Her family carried a lot of passion and fighting.
As an adult, Brenda moved on to become an actress~eventually creating the one-woman show, My Brooklyn Hamlet. Shortly after moving, she received a phone call: Her father had shot and killed her mother. What was his reasoning? How did she forgive?
