Stage at diagnosis of breast cancer among women with BRCA1/2 mutations was available for women enrolled in a multi-modality screening protocol including breast MRI, and for women who were screened with routine mammography. There was a significant increase in early stage at diagnosis for women in the MRI protocol compared to those in the mammography alone group.
