I like to add this content ot the blockchain to make sure it has a home online for ever! Every now and again, it's great to go hunting for deals on bibles. Which is how I came into possession of this brown genuine leather Thompson Chain Reference bible. And being inspired lately to actually dive into this legendary study bible, I thought it was a great time to review it. I purchased this for dirt cheap and didn't really find any issues with it. I do think however the ISBN is incorrect on it, which is why it was in the bargain bin. The ISBN for this one should be 978-0310459262 but it's listed as 978-0310459255. This is the indexed version, and not the regular version which the stamped ISBN reads. It's truly a legendary way to study Scripture.

Let's face it, it's rough out there for anyone trying to make ends meet...Which brings me to the question of the day... Would it be smart for these companies to show a bit more loyalty to their customers? And today I talk about why I think it's a good idea (if you are into this crypto stuff) to still be excited for what's going on here on chain.... Nevermind the price, yeah it sucks....But we can't control that. We can control our effort here. I discuss that and so much more in my 'Jongo Thoughts' or whatever I'm calling these things right now? But I think it's an important topic, so I did the next best thing :) Thanks to 3speak, I can upload these audio rcordings that I do of my crazy thoughts about #faith and share it with you! And tonight I speak about the power of apologetics in our mission of the great commission. What do we believe? Why do we believe it? These are important questions that need to be answered if we are to become effective evangelists and share the gospel. And not in a combative way at all, with love and with respect always. Which is kind of odd today because I have thoughts and theories on....The printed word. Yet I'm doing an audio recoridng of those thoughts... And while it does focus mainly on my concerns that the printed bible is becoming a thing of the past, it's not relegated to #faith or #religion It's an overall concern about how human beings are more interested in TikTok and less interested in spending time in a book. Today by the grace of God, I got home safely and recorded some short clips during the trip. A drive that usually takes about 5 hours for me, took almost 8. Plenty of cars in the ditch, numerous accidents, it was just awful....But alas, if you drove slowly and safely, it was a winter wonderland of sorts. There are some incredible content creators out there, a lot more skilled than I am, that have gone over the KJV Concord by Cambridge in great detail. If you are looking for a detailed review, this may not be the video for you. Instead, this is my attempt to find the perfect size premium KJV bible! I compare 3 bibles that I own... The Personal Size Canterbury by Schuyler The Single Column Premier KJV by Thomas Nelson And finally, the Concord - my first Cambridge :) I love all the premium bibles that I own, however for whatever reason these publishers don't seem to hit the mark when it comes to what I consider...The perfect size every day carry. At least not in a premium construction. So this video compares all 3 bibles and I hope to answer the question I asked above.... Is the Concord the perfect size premium KJV bible? Do you own any premium bibles? If so, which is your favorite?

Just in case Google does Google things. My first premium NKJV :) I'm was pretty excited to get this delivered today and couldn't wait to go over it with this review. It's pretty much my first reaction to a bible I've been eyeing for quite some time! I'll go over some of the features here: Brown goatskin cover 10.5 Comfort Print font End of verse references Double column and verse by verse layout 36 GSM European bible paper Smyth Sewn Edge Line constructed 3 satin ribbons Red under gold art gilding And so much more! Dimensions: 6 x 9 x 1.75 inches (It's a bit on the chunky side and more of a regualr size, not so much personal) ISBN: 978-0-7852-5829-2 I've been in the market for a premium NKJV for a while now and this ticked off so many boxes for me. The two biggest being a personal sized bible and the end of verse references. Only a few things I would change from it, and I go over them in the video. Hope you enjoy it!

I haven't been able to put this down.... A few years ago, Thomas Nelson released Spurgeon and the Psalms. An interesting look at the Psalms with commentary introductions to each Psalm by Charles Spurgeon. While the idea of the product was something truly unique, I wasn't a big fan of how it was manufactured. Very thin paper made it hard to read and it just felt 'cheap' from a production stand point. I guess Thomas Nelson was listening to feedback because this new devotional is arguably one of the nicest products I've seen them produce. This devotional goes over the four gospels in the NKJV translation. But at the beginning of each chapter, is a brief thought and commentary on it from Charles Spurgeon. But the presentation is just incredible! The paper is top quality, the leathersoft is so nice, the print, fonts, extra margin space for notes just makes this the complete package.
