The former FBI Assistant Director for the Criminal Investigative Division describes the “seismic culture shift” happening today inside of the FBI and why it has become a lot more pronounced within the last five years. Chris Swecker comments that some of the cultural aspects, he “saw coming under Robert Mueller,” but it was James Comey who “parachuted the DOJ, political appointees into” the Bureau, which have been further “accelerated” under current FBI Director Christopher Wray.
