John and Matt dived deep into the importance of tracking your numbers, being visible, sharpening your skills, and being an expert in your field. It all boils down to building a connection, communicating, and consistently talking to your prospects. In Real Estate, you will have obstacles that you will have to overcome in every deal. You need to start looking at them as opportunities and show them that you are knowledgeable on the subject and you have the appropriate solution to the problem. Most people think they are working hard, they feel they are putting the time in until there's someone to compare them to that brings in the revenue. This is where tracking activities and numbers are important. You need to have the systems and technology to use when tracking as this holds your team accountable for things that they need to work on. In the Real Estate business, communication and engaging with people is crucial. Be committed to talking to people daily, weekly, and monthly. Regardless of the tools or social media platforms you are using- at the end of the day, you'll only be able to close when you have a conversation. As a realtor, you are an adviser. When buyers inquire about rates, pricing, insurance, etc. This is your time to make them realize that they need you. Be the expert that they seek.
