JOOF Sessions 007. Euphoria White Label - Level 2 remake. It's frightening to think we're now into the seventh week of this world situation, at the very start of my new venture into streaming I made some technical errors meaning that the first JOOF Sessions was broadcast in mono and why it was never saved. This triggered a memory of my mix compilation Euphoria White Label - Level 2 released in 2003, the mastering engineer made a huge mistake and CD1 and the final press was in mono and not realised until it was released. The label went bankrupt years ago, so impossible to get any repressed and its something that's stayed with me all these years. 17 years later I want to bring this back to life in stereo as it was always intended. Thought I could mix the album again in my studio and post on socials, I thought it would be more fun that we do this live together so that we can all witness the rebirth of this iconic album. John 00 Fleming presents JOOF Radio 004 with guest The Freedom Fighters (Israel) While putting my mix together this month it reminded me of the wonderful days of the Progressive Trance era in the 90's. For the next generation that are always curious, this mix sums up the ethos, the feeling, the ideology of those great days but today using new musical tools that live in different the genres today due to the every changing goal posts moving within genres. It was conclusive response the Deep mix stood out as favourite and thankfully shows you're trusting me with my musical vision into the future. Deep is in the roots of my sound/heart, but don't just associate this with slow tracks, I've always had a driving edge although there's a slight void in this world, I'm working hard to fill it. John 00 Fleming's Global Trance Grooves January 2019 Edition 190: John 00 Fleming + Astropilot Description: Global Trance Grooves January 2019 It's Global Trance Grooves day! 2018 was an a fantastic year for me playing festivals such as BOOM Festival (4-Hour set), Ozora, Creamfields, EDC along with many Open to Close and extended sets, then came the epic ending to the year Beatport making me artist of the week, then JOOF recordings label of the month and recently celebrating 20 years of JOOF recordings. While the JOOF residents focused on looking back at our 20 year history via our 20 years album, this month I'd like to carry on the celebration on by looking at what recent JOOF tracks have stayed in my DJ playlists in the form of Deep and Turbo mixes. I've also included some new unreleased material so you can see what flavours we have coming up.
