Three men accused of scamming a dairy company out of nearly twelve million rand have been released on bail. Vivian, Aladin, and Cheslin Sass face forty-eight counts of commercial fraud after allegedly taking orders for products that never arrived. The scheme began in 2018 when Coega Dairy signed a distribution deal with Universal Holdings, run by the trio. Despite complaints and investigations, the suspects are accused of selling the goods elsewhere and pocketing the cash. The case moves to a specialized commercial crimes court on March 30, 2026.
