It was a hard day for Congress and the White House as loved one affected by the recent mass shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde, Texas, testified on the heartache they feel and anger at government for not passing responsible legislation on gun control. One powerful testimony came from actor Matthew McConaughey, who's a native of Uvalde, from the White House press room, and stated that responsible gun ownership, along with investing in mental health and other strategies, is a way to reduce the mass shootings in this country.
