Two French racers, one French race, who will take home the glory? We find ourselves racing the wonderful track of Le Mans this week as the MotoGP standings finally get a little stretched out due to an extremely wild ride in the rain!!! In qualifying on Saturday Fabio Quartararo did find himself an all time lap record, letting him take of from Pole for the first time in years!! Following the take off, he quickly found him self being gobbled up by Ducati's and finished the sprint 4th overall. Surprisingly enough, the 3rd Ducati to overtake him wasn't Pecco, but rather, the rookie Aldeguer, which we're sure Marc enjoyed quite a bit!!! Moving into Sunday, where do we even start? With a wet sighting lap, the grid found itself full of rain tires, but as we moved towards race start the rain stopped and asphalt dried up. With over half the grid moving to dry tire bikes after pit lane closed, double long lap penalties were served to a majority of riders in the field. But as the race got underway and into full swing, the rain started again, and chaos ensued!!
