With all that's been going on... despair, suicide, racism and national border disputes... My heart compels me to address man's personal anchorage in God himself. How do we hold God's hand when people let go. By choice or by chance... people aren't permanent. They are loaned to us for the seasons of our lives. If we aren't anchored in God, we will not be able to process the pain of grief, despair, and abandonment.
People are valuable... but from being used to being abused, from being loved to being lost, from giving birth to grieving death... we must hold on to the one who is the only permanent partner in life. The one for whom we were purposed and designed.
