Taylen Green enters portal; Ashton Jeanty cements legendary status
There was no time for the dust to settle for the Boise State football program on the heels of capturing its fifth Mountain West championship. After becoming the first interim head coach in FBS history to win a conference title game, Spencer Danielson was rewarded with the permanent tag. The announcement came moments after Danielson met with the media virtually alongside UCLA head coach Chip Kelly to set the stage for the LA Bowl. Another curveball came Monday immediately following Danielson's introductory press conference – quarterback Taylen Green elected to enter the transfer portal.
