Judiciary System: The Nigerian justice system is a mix of different legal traditions, primarily English common law, customary law, and Sharia law (for consenting Muslims). It's structured with federal and state courts, culminating in the Supreme Court as the final appellate body. The system has faced challenges, including corruption allegations and concerns about delays and efficiency.
The result on the masses cannot be underestimated following the numerous decisions being meted out from judgements and how politicians now see the judiciary as a tool to abuse power.
