On this morning's of #LetsTalk with Zoe Machunga, we explored a media perspective to the comment by Lai Mohammed on social media regulations, lessons from the #EndSARS protest as well as the aftermath of the looting spree.  Zoe was joined by the Chairman of the National Union of Journalist, Plateau state chapter, Mr Paul Jatau and a veteran Journalist with Reality newspaper, Valentine Adese.  Mr Jatau stressed the need for citizens to leverage fact checking platforms as a way to curb misinformation. He also encouraged journalists to always give fair and credible reportage.  According to Mr Adese, it's not wise for the government to charge the said hoodlums to court, he encouraged them to use another approach.  The youth must take charge but we have to avoid chaos by all means. Since governance is run on ideas, the #NigeriaAtSunset with Ponsah Fanap and Opeyemi Akinyode were joined by the disciples of late Senator GNS Pwajok, who ideas played a core role in the success of the administration of Jonah Jang.  According to one of the disciples, Senator GNS is an ideology, that covers leadership, governance, justice and inclusive participation. In a press release, the Plateau state government said that those caught allegedly looting would be prosecuted in accordance with the extant laws has been generating conversations.  This evening on #NigeriaAtSunset, Ponsah Fanap and Opeyemi Akinyode sampled the opinions of Godfrey Matthew Esq and Comrade Steve Aluko as regards the press release.  According to Mr Matthew, instead of prosecuting palliative looters, government should rehabilitate them. He further stated that the judicial process is a waste of resources, he advised the government to leverage approach for swift reconciliation.  In his reaction, Comrade Aluko said that government should be able to protect lives and properties not just palliatives. On the distribution of palliatives in Plateau state, Dan Manjang, the Plateau Commissioner of Information stated that all CACOVID palliatives were distributed across the state. Mr. Manjang also called on citizens should learn to trust the Govt. Dr. Meshak said that there's a huge trust deficit between the govt and the people. To bridge this deficit, Luka said the government should engage the people.

Markus Kanda Audu and Ali Ali, the State Secretary of the National Council of Muslim Youth Organization had a conversation along the lines of entrenching peace on the Plateau. According to Ali Ali, religion is an instrument of brainwash; divide, and rule. In his remarks, Pharm. Markus stated that since trust has been lost between the people and the government, the government should bridge the gap by taking actions that are measurable by the governed.
