Perheen äidin, Belindan, oma äiti alkoi ihmetellä kun perhe ei ilmestynyt hänen luokse illalliselle retken päätteeksi, kuten oli sovittu. Seitsemän kuukautta perheen katoamisen jälkeen mysteeri ratkesi osittain.
