170-Getting Needs Guesses Wrong
Taking needs guesses is one of the three components of empathy as taught in The Bigbie Method's version of NVC. Based on Marshall Rosenberg's idea that "All conflict is a tragic expression of an unmet need," taking a needs guess can help individuals get more clarity within the context of their conflicts. However, as we learn to give empathy in this manner, many of us get stuck on having to get the needs guess correct. In Episode 170, Heather and Dr. B discuss why this isn't necessary at all!!
