022-Enemy Image Process
Sometimes in conflict we end up in a place of extreme dislike and/or distrust of the "other." This is a painful place to be and it is also very difficult to have effective and connecting communication when one is stuck having this "enemy image" of other. When this occurs, there are some things you can do to help you shift from seeing the "other" as the "enemy" or "problem." In NVC, we try to move past these judgments, no matter how "right" they may seem because, ultimately they do not serve connection. In this episode, we share a bit about one of the things you can do when you are stuck seeing the other as an enemy.
