If you want to learn more about today’s guest producer Alois Clemens Lageder:

Born in Bolzano in 1987, Alois Clemens represents the sixth generation of a family winegrowing business that has a tradition going back to 1823 and which today is a point of reference when it comes to the evolution of wine production in South Tyrol.

After graduating in sociology and modern history at University of Zurich, Alois Clemens began to study winemaking abroad, in Germany (Geisenheim University), and during an Erasmus program year in Dijon, France. He spent some training periods in the United States and France where he worked with prestigious wineries including Domaine Marquis d’Angerville, in Burgundy, among several others. From September 2013 until the end of 2015, he worked with the Oikopolis-Group in Luxembourg, which specialises in the production and sale of organic produce, and simultaneously studied for a Master’s Degree in Management for family-run businesses at the Zeppelin Universität in Germany.
