More about the Co-Moderator:

Wayne Young

“I'm Wayne Young, a transplanted American living and working in Friuli Venezia Giulia in Italy since 1998. After being awarded the WSET Diploma and stints working for Wine Spectator Magazine and as a somm at Joe Bastianich's Becco restaurant in New York, I decided to try my hand at cellar work. My plan was to return to New York and start a new chapter in the wine business after my first harvest... But three months became 4 years, and after marrying my Italian girlfriend, I moved to Udine permanently in 2002. I LOVE the wines from this region, and I love being able to have these conversations with the people who create them.”

About today’s guest producer:

Cora Basilicata

I'm Cora I was born in 1993 from a family of Wine makers. My parents started with Le Due Terre business in 1984 and from when I was a child they make me fell in love with their work. I studied enology at the highschool and then at the university, but I always follow my mother in her wine travels around the world. In the last ten years I spent more time in the vineyards instead to travel for the wine business because I love work in contact with nature and because I want to follow the road of my father as a winemaker. I consider my role in our winery as a custodian of the work done by my parents, and not as a revolutionary who wants to overturn the past.
