Welcome to Wine2Wine Business Forum 2021 Series. The sessions are recorded and uploaded on Italian Wine Podcast. wine2wine is an international wine business forum, held annually in Verona Italy since 2014. The event is a key reference point for wine producers and a diverse variety of wine professionals eager to develop and grow their wine business worldwide.
About today’s session:
There has been a concerted push within the top players of the Indian wine industry to highlight and expand the premium end of their portfolio (17 – 45 euros/ bottle). This also ties in with an effort to raise the profile of Indian wine both domestically and internationally. This session will provide a look into this trend and its results.
About the Speakers
Ruma Singh DipWSET has spent a major part of her career as a journalist with India’s leading newspaper group before giving it up to concentrate on writing on wine. Today, after completing her WSET Diploma in London, she works out of her base in Bangalore, India, as a wine writer. She is also a wine judge, consultant, columnist and writer for several publications as well as her own dedicated wine website, Between the Wines at rumasingh.com. Travel is a passion, especially when wine-related.
