A four minute podcast about Madeleine leaving home. It's been tough but I am handling it.

Painting cows is fun! Trying to keep up with summer postings is hard! I have a hard time talking, the words don't come as easily as I try to formulate my ideas.

Back at the beginning of August, I went to the Gore Street Café to listen to some open mic music.  I talk about the summer, some of the stuff I've been doing.  (It's cut a bit short...but they're "bits" for a reason! :-)

I continue talking about my summer and what are some of my ideas for this Super 8 Workshop I will be taking soon. 

I could not sleep last night, so I recorded 3 short casts. I went way back to 1987 last night. Things I wanted to do when I was young and that I am starting to do again at 48. Very fun! :-)

I think I was at the grocery store when I recorded this... Yes... I don't usually like recording in public but it's so loud there that I didn't feel too obvious recording in my phone.

This is another ukulele song I am practicing; hope I am not breaking your ears, "casser les  oreilles"...ha ha! J'espère que je ne vous casse pas les oreilles. But If I am "cassing your oreilles" then I apologize.

On the road home to Québec.  Catching up with what is happening. 

I make mistakes and the pitch is not  perfect but it's kind of cute (from my perspective) of course. Am I on America Idol? No. I'm a silly mom singing in her basement.  Singing is good for the soul. Thanks for sharing with me.

In response to events that have transpired in Paris these last few days, I have decided to read Les Fleurs du Mal de Charles Baudelaire. I also made a melody on my ukulele... I thought the uke could never be sad but today it is. Thanks for listening

The holidays are over, trying to keep myself busy so that I don't think.

I decided not to get into an incident that happened last week. Life is too short! Then I talked about my paintings a bit. I am working on a Byzantine theme.

This is a paper I am writing for my Art History course on Claude Monet. I am not sure if it's good or bad. I am sure that it could be improved but I am running out of time.

I was awarded a service excellence plaque, which is awesome. Wishing you guys a good week... However it's already almost the weekend.

Lots happening this Summer... Camping, art events, friends. Life passes by quickly!

Today I met famous artists David Garneau and Clement Yeh. I came out a bit rattled from this meeting that saw me un- prepared but ready to accept whatever would come because I am a risk-taker.

The summer language workshops started and I am busy doing all kinds of things in the backyard.

I am sooo busy! The language workshops are coming along well but sometimes I wonder what is it all for?
