The building, once a nineteenth-century mansion owned by James Irvine, now serves as the third addition to Irvines independent public library network. The grand opening attracted many visitors, who enjoyed festivities and explored the updated interior. The library, located at 13019 Old Myford Road, is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.
