Alma Miller, a 15-year-old from Los Angeles, wins first place in the Holocaust Art Contest at Chapman University. Her artwork, inspired by a survivors secret poems, captures the struggle to maintain humanity amidst tragedy. The contest, run by Chapmans Rodgers Center and Holocaust Museum LA, received entries from over 200 schools across 32 states and 6 countries. Almas winning piece was shared with survivors and the crowd, keeping their stories alive for future generations.
