Air Canada Crash: Most Passengers Released, Investigation Continues - The majority of injured passengers from the collision between an Air Canada plane and a fire truck at LaGuardia Airport have been discharged from the hospital. The two pilots were killed, and the fire truck driver and passenger survived. The crash occurred as the plane landed with 76 people on board. The fire truck had been cleared to cross the runway moments before the impact. The damaged jet and overturned fire truck were moved to a hangar and a memorial was held for one of the pilots in Montreal. Air Canada plans to return passengers belongings as investigators continue to determine the cause of the accident.
