Here it is — an early morning love letter to Jamaican music, one of the enduring loves of my life. Best listened to with the woofer's woofin' 🔊 At times I serenaded you with soulful reggae; at times, I shelled you with basslines — all straight from my tender heart to yours. Massive thanks to the Akisq’nuk First Nation, the Wicked Woods crew, and ever-expanding gratitude to Indigogh (Jackson), who mastered a track the night before I left for the Woods of Whimsy — so I could bathe the forest creatures in proper root chakra frequencies. This mix is my Bass Coast application mix and showcases passion for my absolute favourite genre to mix and dance to, dancehall! Endless love and gratitude for Jamaican artists and their tidal waves of talent and inspiration 🙏 I mixed this using Serato, 4 channels, and stems. Went easy on the pullbacks and sirens, but had to include a few as a salute to my dancehall predecessors :) Music lover, DJ, dancer, event producer, and radio host, Dolla Hilz knows it's always a good time for a dance party! Memories and Melodies is a radio show curated by Tilda Bron and Megan Harvey and airs on Stoke FM Sundays at 7:30pm. Stoke FM is Revelstoke, BC's volunteer-run community radio station 92.5FM and online as well! Memories and Melodies has a different guest every week to discuss songs from their past. These ladies are amazing and it was such a pleasure to recount some of my favourite songs. It's a compelling way to construct a narrative of your life. I had a blast and am so happy to have been on the airwaves again after a loooooooong hiatus. Long. Live. Radio.

Allez! Here is the last two hours of my set from Allez! A rooftop speakeasy disco/funk party. This was an inspired evening that transported attendees back to the 70s! The outfits were fabulous and retro, and the ‘no phones’ rule resulted in an evening of connection and dancing without distraction. The 70s is my absolute favourite decade for music and it comes across in this set. Thank you so much for your energy and dancing all evening long! I had so much fun! This evening felt like a soul cleanse! Sometimes, you just need to send some love into the ethos and dance it out. Thank you for being a part of that.
