Ahead of the independence day celebrated on April 4th Bassirou Diomaye Faye, Senegal's new president, addressed the nation in a televised address on Wednesday evening. In his statement he promised several institutional reforms like the judiciary, he also promised to address the unemployment issue, to fight corruption and enhance good governance.
