Uno dei mantra più popolari dei mercati rialzisti è “the trend is your friend”, ed è ampiamente riconosciuto nell’industria che seguire il trend durante una fase rialzista porta profitti nelle casse degli investitori.
L'ironia è che seguire il trend è un sotto-prodotto del riconoscimento sociale, si segue in pratica la direzione della folla, degli altri. Quindi è realmente corretto investire seguendo il trend, o ci sono alternative migliori?
Oggi vediamo cosa significa essere "contrari" e tentiamo di comprendere come esserlo, utilizzando il giusto framework e realizzando che il modello di pensiero è imperfetto, ma uno dei migliori da seguire nonostante le sue imperfezioni.
