In Luke 9 Jesus heals a woman on the sabbath, but the religious leaders disagreed with this because they didn't understand the kingdom of God. Unlike these religious leaders, Jesus saw people's need and because he is compassionate, he stopped what he was doing to offer freedom and healing.
