Wormhole: Gateway to the Top L1 Ecosystems
✨About Wormhole ✨ Wormhole is a chain that bridges the biggest ecosystems in blockchain today, including Ethereum, Solana, Binance Smart Chain (BSC), and Terra. Wormhole could be seen as a competitor to Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC), but it can also be seen as totally complementary to IBC. That’s because there are many chains, like the ones mentioned, that don’t have IBC light client support, and are thus totally siloed from the IBC ecosystem. Wormhole could be a bridge between a) the smart contracting ecosystems, and b) the IBC ecosystem.
