It sounds like such an edge case but it has happened before. DeFi frontends have been under attack ever since hostile governments decided it was a threat to them. Websites like Yearn and Uniswap have been unilaterally been shut down before in the past. Laconic enables protocols to distribute their most important assets and have them served even in the event of outages.
