Babylon chain offers checkpointing to the Bitcoin blockchain for Cosmos appchains. This can possibly reduce the standard 14-day unbonding period you must wait to securely unbond from any Tendermint-based chain by leveraging the security of the Bitcoin blockchain. Does this potentially turn Bitcoin into the de facto settlement layer for Cosmos where there wasn't one before?
