Empty nesting, divorce, family dynamics… These life situations can take a toll on our self esteem and even how we pursue joy and having fun. Cultivating joy on my own has been something I’ve had to work at, not because I don’t know how to have fun, but because it was uncomfortable at first, to pursue it alone. The change of seasons and roles in my life half taught me many things. Now I laugh out loud regardless. I pursue FUN with a passion. I have parties on purpose by myself. Life is too short to wait for fun. MAKE IT HAPPEN!!
