In this episode Kathy Scott talks to Susan about Gingertree Holistic Health and Beauty. Her business is based at Aske Stables just outside of Richmond, in a beautiful, peaceful location, where Kathy treats anyone interested in improving their skin health. Kathy talks about helping clients to understand how to improve their skin, not from a vanity perspective but rather from a health perspective.
Most of us are aware of the detrimental effect that UVA and UVB rays can have upon us, however there is also a growing concern about the impact of blue light from computer screens causing damage to our skin. Kathy has studied skin health for many years and knows the science behind our skin structure. Our skin is the body's largest organ and, when it becomes compromised, problematic skin can develop causing volatile skin conditions such as rosacea and acne. She explains, in easily understandable terms, what we can do to improve our skin. She is, indeed, testament herself that when your skin is well looked after it can take years off your appearance.
