It is the FIRST official pick 'em of the 2025 college football season, and the guys get you prepped for a pair of top 10 showdowns featuring the midwest. while reacting live to the late Thursday night games.
The big one of the weekend is a rematch of the 2024 college football semifinal between Ohio State and Texas. Turnover is abound for both squads, but this matchup is highlights by a pair of former five-star QB prospects on Arch Manning for Texas and Julian Sayin for Ohio State. Which signal caller will step up, and which defense will carry the day?
In South Florida, the other team from last year's national title game head on the road to take on a Miami squad that is once again high on hype for 2025 with new QB Carson Beck and a revamped defense through the portal. Can the Irish's own highly ranked QB in CJ Carr kick off their season on a high note?
Elsewhere, the guys discuss a plethora of teams facing games with large point spreads (Michigan St., Illinois, Penn St., Maryland, Purdue, Indiana, Oregon, Iowa, Michigan, USC, Washington). Should any be on upset alert?
