The NCAA has found itself wrestling with constant change: Burgeoning TV Rights deals, athletes monetizing their image, and major conferences adding and subtracting big schools from their roster. Those issues weren't on Val Ackerman radar as a four-year hoops star at the University of Virginia. They were secondary as she helped launch the WNBA.
