On a special Hall of Fame episode of “Mizzou Storytellers,” Loretta Jones, Dave Matter and “Producer Steve” Sowers visit with former Mizzou Director of Athletics Mike Alden, a member of the loaded University of Missouri Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025. Alden, Mizzou’s AD from 1998-2015, shares the story of his journey from Chicago to Arizona to New Mexico to Texas to Missour-ah, where he became an award-winning athletics director that spearheaded the Tigers’ move to the SEC, rebuilt the program’s facilities landscape and hired Mizzou’s all-time winningest football coach. Mike also shares what he’s been up to for the last decade since retiring from Mizzou.
