Plus, Johnny Depp’s defamation trial started up again today after a week-long break - with ex-wife Amber Heard back on the stand, continuing to testify about the abuse she says she endured in their marriage. And this weekend’s violence at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, was top of mind at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards. In fact, the award show began not with music, but silence.
