A woman working in a furniture store in California was stabbed to death while a woman working at a Burger King in New York was shot and killed - in both cases, authorities say the killer was homeless. Jim Moret has the details. And a lot of questions are being asked in the wake of that terrifying hostage situation at a synagogue in Texas...including how did the assailant - a British national - even gain entry into this country given his troubling criminal past. Les Trent has more on that...and the cool headed rabbi who helped avert disaster. Plus, we're learning more about the arrest of comedian Tiffany Haddish for DUI near Atlanta. Today the 911 call was released of a witness who called saying he saw someone asleep behind the wheel of an SUV. And today would have been Betty White's 100th birthday.
