The guys talk to Mike and Dawn Mcewen about the pregnancy rule that’s been implemented by Curling Canada, Dawn comments on "a whole whack load’ of curlers who are pregnant in the first year of the new quad (3:15) and the inequality of the new rule (5:15), the extreme pressure to have children at the ‘right time' (6:50) and the risk of losing your position in the rankings to take time off for maternity leave (7:50)
Casey Scheidegger joins the guys for the second half of the show to discuss the ramifications of the new rule for her team (14:55). Also, she shares a major personal announcement (15:30), the viability of having a 5-person team (23:45) and how Curling Canada has been making decisions without consulting players…her team found out about the new rule changes on Twitter! (25:45).
