Ep 6#006 | Dylan Halverson

From Great Falls, MT to the top of a mountain on psychedelics, Dylan Halverson has been exploring not only his own inner guidance of life but his psychological fortitude towards what it means to be a human on this earth, searching for life's purpose and opening up his mind to the endless array of opportunities that presented a more meaningful way to live. I met Dylan at a coffee shop here in Bozeman where I instantly felt a connection with someone who looked at life deeper than your average barista (or anyone for that matter) and within a few short minutes I was exchanging numbers to have him on the Podcast. Dylan now, is set to embark down to the Azores, an island chain off the coast of Portugal where he is helping setup ecosystems that work in harmony with sustainable growth and habitats that better the environment. A blueprint that he hopes he can take and transfer not only to western culture but to others around the world.

Ep 5#005 | Kyrie & Michaela

What if a friend or a partner asked you to do an adventure into the unknown with them? I believe we’ve all told ourselves we’d follow that person we admire, long for or even someone we love, to the edge of the earth and back but sometimes we just say those things to trick ourselves into the dedication we want to have with them. Well that’s not what Kyrie and Michaela were going to settle with. In fact, it may not have been to the edge of the so-called “earth” but instead from edge to edge of the United States starting on the border of Arizona and ending in Canada was their goal to do just that… and did I mention they were doing it all on bikes!?On this episode we unite to recap the trials and tribulations of not only the harrowing 2,500 miles spent peddling bikes through the CDT’s version of this cycling feat but doing it under the umbrella of being queer in a sometimes a not so accepting culture that some of our western cities and towns still might struggle to accept in our modern era.We dive into the backstory of growing up wandering the Flathead Reservation, acceptance from an unsuspecting town in Bozeman, the way we grew up to look at the world and poop… Lots of poop talk.Enjoy these two lovely humans that I get to call friends and indulge in the various topics, discussions and memories these two wanted to create when they decided to leave their homes and start a new life for themselves, not sure of the direction it would all take and how special crossing each others paths would eventually reveal.

Ep 4#004 | Tammie Jacobs

Tammi Jacobs is a former Fitness Director at Ridge Athletics. From graduating at ASU to working in the medical field as a biologist, Tammi learned about health from both the scientific understanding as well as the more practical one, training people and getting to know what makes them “tick”. Her devotion to helping people stems from a personal tragedy and made her outlook on life something to be admired as she pushed people both physically and mentally to be their best in and out of the gym.

Ep 3#003 | Taylor Wallace

Taylor Wallace is a Texan turned Montanan who slings coffee at his newly established coffee shop named, Roly Poly Coffee Co. (formally known as Howdy Partner Coffee). I first met Taylor when he was just serving out of the back of his Ford Bronco at various locations. From that time he has gone through 2 locations and finally settled where he's at now, tucked in the corner of our great town of Bozeman, MT. Along with his brother these two make sure to have you feel their roots the second you walk through the door. We talk about life's way of taking those curve balls and throwing them at us, how he came to work in coffee and how music helped influence his life at such a young age.

Ep 2#002| Jeff Garmire

The Cocodona250 is a 250 mile race where some of the worlds best endurance athletes comes to partake in its grueling trek across unsavory terrain and full on slog of a push to beat one another out… Then there’s Jeff Garmire, a 31 year old man who made sure to train very little (due to injury), curate the perfect tiger outfits to run in and show that a race like this, although competitive, can be something to enjoy. Beyond that, Jeff has accomplished the Triple Crown, a completion of the PCT, AT and CDT all done in one calendar year. He even wrote a book on doing it while living as a ski bum in Tahoe. From the corporate atmosphere to the beautiful colors of the trail he can’t see, Jeff has lived a full life in this short amount of time. It’s the perspective that when you find something that truly hits the chord of being happy, that unless you want to go back to a place you didn’t like being in, why would one turn that faucet off? Join me as we take a dive into his world touching on random parts of life to gain an understanding that the happiness and success of all this came from a desire to find what was true within him.

Ep 1#001 | Dylan Wineland

E

Dylan Wineland is an ever growing, ever changing filmmaker from Salt Lake City who's passions derive from the cerebral, sometimes dark yet beautiful parts of the human consciousness. He is fascinated with the human story and his facisnation allows him to turn over the rocks that lead to a combination of the spiritual, psychological and physical elements that make up a person's life, only to transfer that imagery into a well packaged end product in his films.I probably should mention that Dylan is one of my closest buds with whom I met while working at Brain Farm in Jackson Hole back in 2014. I always told him he was going to be the first episode of my podcast as he was one of the earliest people to cheer me along in this endeavor so naturally it made sense to kick this journey off with a familiar face for whom I trust. This episode might stray away from my mission statement of the podcast but in so many ways it aligns with what it is I started this for. To hear people's journey not only within their passions and work, but within themselves. Check out Dylan’s work:Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/user13564679IG: @Dylanwineland

The InHinesight Podcast Trailer

trailer

The InHinesight Podcast has been a culmination of 4 years of anxiety, reworks, way too many starts and stops and a love hate for even why I started this to begin with. Simply answered, it’s for me… The simplest excuse to follow it through (or not). If it was to appease others, what connection would I ultimately have towards this endeavor?“Living the worlds dream”, as Don Miguel Ruiz said in the 4 Agreements, is what we all need to branch off of and move into our, “Own dreams” that we pursue. That’s the sentiment that lives behind this podcast; How did someone follow their own values of life and pursue the passions and interests that got them to where they are at today? It’s this question that I have asked myself and when I now see what those values are, even when ever shifting, it helps me see the path more clearly and filled with motivation to achieve the success that inevitably does when you follow that inner beacon towards the things you love. I am happy for myself for even making it this far, with a trailer that has other voices on it, of whom I interviewed. Not totally sure where we will be going with this but I hope that I have fun asking people about their lives as I get to look deeper within mine to better understand and pass on to others who may find it useful, or at the very least, entertaining. Thanks for reading.. I’ll see you on the other side.
